Logic 7 on Tiger OS.
Installing the upgrade to Logic Pro on a computer running the new MAC OS should be easy right? You would think that this would be a simple thing but you would be wrong. It seems that in this instance the install believes that there is already a newer version of the software already on the computer. (Probable something to do with the updated Core Audio and Core Midi in the OS)
So now I wait patiently for the MAC folks to get back to me before I install.

Alanna is officially on her way to art camp with a stop over to see Azure and Jason in Cambridge. This will be the longest we have been apart from each other in 5 years. We are big folks so I think we can take it, but it does feel a little strange. Maybe I’ll just start talking to myself.

Well I finally got my OS X tiger install all worked out. Since I have installed I have not been able to get my Maxtor Firewire drive hooked back up, but thanks to this great post on MacOSX.com about the problem it has all cleared up.
Turns out it was some dumb as “One Touch” extensions that no one uses anyway.

I updated the Tinyblackdots.com site the other day. I made the entire site a wordpress blog. This site still runs off of Movabletype but I am mightily impressed with Wordpress.
I even hooked up a mailing list PHP/MySQL script. That was kind of a pain in the ass, but it eventually worked.

OS X Update
I am still unable to plug in my Maxtor 250GB Firewire drive and it doesn’t seem that Apple or Maxtor really care about this problem, Which kinda sucks.
Other than that it has been cool.
