Gi’me some sugar baby

Today I installed SugarCRM on our internal servers in about an hour. This is open source software that is so robust that you wonder what the hell people are staying with Salesforce.com for?

In another development, I tried to cancel our salesforce account and 3 days later I am still workin on it. No button to cancel just a number of a person who could file a case about your need to cancel and then POOF it disappears into the ether.

MS: Catch 22

Paul and I worked with Mike to install our new project server and after a few hours we realized that we were back at square one.

We could not setup our new Windows Server 2003 fancy pants Dell machine as our primary domain controller. Our older Exchange machine is NT4 and the networking has gone a little funky so it crashes when you try to get into the network settings. This of course means that it cannot connect to the new server because we cannot get into the network settings. Now we have to wait until the weekend so that we can move our Exchange system to as outside vendor.

Do not pass Go
Go directly back to install screen

Loose Change – 9/11

I’m not saying that I believe everything but I am saying that you need to watch it, and make up you mind for yourself. Powerful shit.

Grand National

I have been raving about Grand National – Kicking the National Habit to just about anyone that will listen. It’s one of those CD’s that creeps up on you and then you keep hearing random songs and wondering “Who is this?” and damnit its Grand National again. Sometimes spooky good and sometimes cheesey 80’s dance pop but always entertaining.
