New Logic Studio 9
Start your MACs. The new version of Logic Studio is out and its got some cool stuff in it. Here is a short list of the stuff that I am looking forward to.
- Pedal boards with lots of virtual stomp boxes
- Flex Time – Editing audio and timelines to match placement and tempo
- Track Importing – Go and get tracks or effects settings from a previous project can be a snap.
- Built in drum replacer
- Sweet take folder editing
- Convert audio to virtual instruments.
Great pop over videos explaining some of the new features.
Check out all goodies for yourself. $199 for the upgrade… Guess I know what santa is getting me for the holidays.
No commentsBest present ever…
I showed this item to my wife and said I was thinking about buying it. It sort of kills two birds with one stone as the saying goes. I was looking at weird vintage amps lately and I also was thinking about getting a lap steel guitar.
So she bought it for me for my birthday / anniversary present. I have the best wife ever.
No commentsdeveloper tools for Safari 4.0
If you have ever wondered what Apple’s Safari would be like with some cool developer tools like the ones for FireFox look no further.
I may seem weird but you already have them… If you have Safari 4.0 just open “Terminal” and type the following line to enable them.
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
They come with some nice element and resource browsing as well as scripts, profile and database functionality. You can turn off Javascript, change your user agent to see browser specific CSS shows up, and see your errors.
Bummers
There are some bummers like no editing of the elements to test out changes and there seem to be some bugs around where the “focus” is when you have the panel open, but overall its pretty nice.
